Grounds for processing
Under the Data Protection Legislation, there are various grounds on which Alchemy can rely when processing your Personal Information. In some contexts, more than one ground applies. We have summarised these grounds as Contract, Legal Obligation, Legitimate Interests and Consent and outline what those terms mean in the following table:

Ensuring we perform our legal and regulatory obligations. |
Legitimate Interests - processing necessary for our or a third party’s legitimate interests |
We or a third party have legitimate interests in, for example, the day-to-day operation, management and planning of our business; effective recruiting and hiring of job applicants, including checking whether they are legally entitled to work in the UK; protecting our interests and legal rights; preventing fraud; managing the performance and security of our premises and equipment. Your Personal Information will not be processed on this basis if our or a third party’s interests are overridden by your own interests, rights and freedoms. |
Consent |
You may have given specific consent to processing of your Personal Information. |
How long do we keep your Personal Information?
